CICS Wrightwood utilizes the following nationally recognized curricular programs: Core Knowledge Curriculum, SRA’s Open Court and Saxon Math.

Core Knowledge Curriculum is a widely used curriculum that uses a research-based sequence of information to promote critical thinking. SRA’s Open Court is a reading program that teaches reading and writing simultaneously. Saxon Math is a research based and highly effective mathematics program.  It is the only major math program that systematically distributes instruction, practice and assessment throughout the academic year.

The rigorous curriculum sets high standards for students, leading to higher standardized test scores and demonstrating that all students, when properly challenged are fully capable of meeting or exceeding goals.

Students in all grade levels also take Physical Education, Music and Fine Arts.
